I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cow House in the heart of Whitby, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is ideal, just a short stroll from popular attractions like the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Whitby Abbey, making it easy to soak up the area's wonderful history. The property itself exudes charm with its quirky original features, and I particularly loved the AGA cooker in the beautifully designed kitchen, which made meal prep a joy. The hosts truly thought of everything; each morning began with a lovely cup of coffee from the espresso machine, and the added touches like dressing gowns and toiletries made us feel right at home. After a day of hiking and cycling in the stunning surroundings, returning to such a cosy sanctuary was the cherry on top of our adventures.
